What is the FATHER GEORGE HAM MEMORIAL FUND?

Father Ham was the first pastor of St. Katharine Drexel Parish and believed that its future relied on the youth. The Father George Ham Memorial Fund was established to continue his legacy of commitment and support of our young parishioners.

What has the FATHER GEORGE HAM MEMORIAL FUND done so far?

  • Supported a young woman on a mission trip to Africa
  • Sent teens to NH Catholic Youthfest and the Steubenville East Conferences
  • Financially assisted pilgrims attending World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid, Spain
  • June 2014, the inaugural year of the Fr. George Ham Memorial Fund Scholarships given to graduating parish seniors serving their parish, school and surrounding communities as disciples of faith
  • June 2016, Mr. and Mrs. Foley along with Fr. Cole presented the first James Foley Memorial Scholarship

What is the FUTURE of the FATHER GEORGE HAM MEMORIAL FUND?

 The Fr. Richard Wegman Memorial Scholarship

In June 2018 the first Father Richard Wegman Memorial Scholarship will be given to a parish senior who intends to pursue business, music or intentionally discern a vocation.
